I'm a distance student and I'm having trouble accessing my UVic Library account. Help!

There are a couple of accounts you can login to on the Libraries' website which understandably may cause a bit of confusion.

As a distance student, the only account you need is your Netlink ID and password, which is the same one you use to login to your online courses in Coursespaces.  It is also the login you need to access your course reserves, and to login to any of the Libraries' online databases, journals, ebooks, etc.

The 'My Account' button you see on the Libraries' homepage is only for on-campus students who sign out print items from the library collection.  It allows them to see what they have signed out, on hold, any fines due, etc.  As a distance student, you can ignore this button as the Distance Learning and Research office will take care of any print items you might want from the collection (see screenshot below).
