Can I make an interlibrary loan request for material that is checked out of the library?

Answer

If the material is marked lost or missing we will order a copy through interlibrary loan, otherwise we will not order through interlibrary loan.


Here are some options for material that is checked out:

  • Place a recall on the book to have it returned to the library for your use.
  • If three or more people recall the same item, staff at the loan desk will put the item on Reserve.
  • You can contact a subject librarian to find out about other materials that will help with your research.
