How long can distance education students keep the materials received from the Library?

Answer

The length of time an item is loaned will depend on the collection or library it comes from and whether you are a graduate or undergraduate student.  Each book will have the due date clearly marked on the front flyer.  The borrowing terms for items from UVic Libraries (including the Curriculum Library) can be found on the borrowing homepage

Items borrowed through interlibrary loan on your behalf have a non-renewable two week loan period.

If you have materials signed out through the Libraries' Distance Learning and Research office and have questions about due dates or whether renewing materials is possible, contact us.
