Q. What software does UVicSpace use?

Answer

We use DSpace, a digital assets management platform used most commonly for institutional repositories. Developed in 2002 by MIT and Hewlett-Packard, it was released as open source software and has since been installed over 1100 times by universities, colleges, research centres, and cultural organizations in nearly 100 countries, accounting for millions of documents.
