What is a bibliography?

Answer

A bibliography is a list of works, often in citation form, written about a particular subject or by a specific author. The list of citations at the end of an article, book chapter, book, etc., is a type of bibliography, which may also be called "works cited," "references," or a "reference list."

Along with in-text citations or footnotes, you often need to include a bibliography (a list of complete citations) at the end of your assignments so your instructor knows what sources you used and how to track them down.  How you format this bibliography will depend on your citation style.

You can also use a bibliography at the end of an article or book you like to find related research.
