How do I find search engines?

We recommend Google Scholar for finding scholarly information.

Find Google Scholar under Search options / Databases / Frequently used databases.  Off-campus users should connect to Google Scholar via the libraries website in order to link to UVic Libraries licensed content.

There are many other engines you can use to search the Web. See the Subject guides for some discipline-specific search engines.
