What kinds of questions can I ask by text?

Answer

TextUs is for quick research related questions, either factual (what year was Confederation?) or directional (where is FC1?). You can also ask other questions about the library building, services, or resources.

You can ask anything by text (to 250-514-7085), but if your question requires a longer response, we'll advise you to use one of our other help services:  visit or telephone the Research help desk, chat with a librarian online Or, we may ask if we can respond with an email, and ask for your email address.

If you ask a question that we can't help you with, we'll direct you to the person or place which can: the Loan Desk, Computer Help Desk, other campus facilities, etc.
