What is Library Search?
Answer
Library Search is an intuitive and fast search engine that helps you discover relevant information on any topic from the University of Victoria Libraries collections. It searches through our collection of books, scholarly journals, newspaper articles, e-books, dissertations, videos, maps, manuscript collections, music scores and more.
Rather than search for all of these things in separate databases, Library Search provides a single unified search box. From your search results, it is one step to the full text of articles or you can see if a book is available.
UVic Libraries provides extensive guides to using Library Search, and video guides to introduce the interface as well.
