Can I borrow a book from the Reference collection?

Answer

Sometimes! Ask a librarian at the Research Help desk if you can borrow the book. If it's okay, the librarian will fill out a form that you take to the loan desk with your UVic ID card (student card) to check out the book.


The decision is at the discretion of the librarian, as is the loan period. Generally the loan period is only a day or two.
