Q. The iMac software I'm using is frozen, what do I do?


There are multiple  solutions:

  • Right mouse click on the software icon in the dock and choose Force Quit.  They try re-launching the application.
  • Click the Apple Menu on the top left corner of the screen and choose Force Quit.  Choose the software among the list of open applications listed.
  • Press Command + Option + Escape to open the same Force Quit list.
  • Click the Apple Menu and choose Restart.  CAUTION:  You may lose data, use this as a last resort.
