Access to the UVic Libraries Online catalogue, UVic web sites, and Libraries Information, and most Government Information are all freely available on the Internet without using the proxy service.

The Library's Subject Guides also suggest a variety of resources that are freely available via the web, open access journals, and other content that does not require authentication.
