Who is eligible for off-campus access to licensed resources?
Answer
All current Undergraduate students, graduate students, Continuing Studies students in a diploma or certificate program, faculty, and staff who access the Internet through an Internet Service Provider are eligible for off-campus access.
You will need a UVic NetLink ID and password in order to use the service. As well, UVic Alumni have access to selected databases from off campus.
We regret that Community Borrowers with UVic library cards will not have access to these services through home or off-campus access.
Restricted databases are purchased by the Library on a subscription basis and due to strict licensing agreements, so access to these subscription databases is restricted to currently enrolled UVic students, UVic faculty, and staff.
