How do I locate a book or archival material in Special Collections?

Answer

For published books, use the Search SC Book Holdings field. Use the quick search with keywords of your choice, or the field search tool for more advanced options.

To find non-published materials, use the search bar at the top of the Archival Collections page.

To browse Special Collections items available online, check out the Digital Collections page.

You can also search for Special Collections books and archival materials in the Catalogue by clicking 'Books & Media' above the search bar, then limiting your search to Special Collections in the Limits menu, as illustrated below.

Special Collections materials may also be found in Library Search by limiting the Library Location to Special Collections in your search results.
