Can I borrow a textbook from interlibrary loan?

Answer

Probably not -- we recommend you don't request textbooks through interlibrary loan because:

  • the standard interlibrary loan period is 3 weeks with no renewals, so a term loan is not available
  • textbooks are often not held by libraries
  • if libraries have textbooks, they are usually in high demand and not available to another library
