How do I access the text of a repealed federal statute?

Answer

You can do so on the Department of Justice Canada website – where you can search for legislation as far back as 2003.

For earlier repealed federal statutes you will have to consult print copies.  By using Quicklaw you can access repealed statutes by clicking on the 'Source Dircetory' tab, filtering by country (Canada) then selecting 'Source Name'.  After that you simply scroll down until you locate 'Canada Repealed Statutes'.
